Security Personnel

Olympian uniformed security personnel are instantly recognisable, smart and provide a reassuring and secure environment. All personnel receive not only the SIA required training, but also the Company's own induction training program which is designed to prepare them for their specific environment or sector of work. Staff receive continuous support from the management team and are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop their personal skills through our Achieving Excellence Programme.

We also take into account the delicate balance required to achieve the necessary security presence while ensuring that the environment remains a welcoming one for customers. The Olympian uniform is highly distinguishable and smart, however, other 'softer' uniforms are available to blend with the Client's own corporate culture and image.

Store Detectives

Store detectives can prove invaluable in targeting external theft and fraud on the shop floor. We select our store detectives carefully, often from our pool of experienced retail security officers who have demonstrated exceptional levels of competence.  The required skills for the role are then developed and tested through our own store detective training programme, created with years of experience partnering with leading High Street Clients.  Management continually monitor the progress of our store detectives and ensure that service levels are maintained and our Clients receive the levels of feedback they require.

Loss Prevention Specialists

Olympian Loss Prevention Specialists are recruited from our existing uniformed personnel and store detective teams. All loss prevention specialists undergo specific training focused on the identification & reduction of business loss.  Critical to the success of our loss prevention services is a detailed initial analysis of current losses, inventory results, known stock loss issues, theft and fraud trends and adherence to existing policy and procedure.  After initial analysis of available data, Olympian loss prevention specialists work in partnership with store management teams to develop a loss prevention action plan.
